The Aerospace & Defense industry continues to be one of the largest employers and serves as the nation's economic baseline through its vast supply chain; from the world's largest defense contractors, down through the three primary manufacturing tiers. 

What is A & D industry?

Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry, contain design, development and manufacture of technologically advanced aircraft, space systems and defense capabilities.

What is the aerospace technology?

Aerospace technology, then, refers to the construction, testing, and maintenance of aircraft and space vehicles. Technicians may be involved in the assembly, service, testing, operation, and repair of systems associated with dependable and reusable space launch vehicles and related ground support equipment.

The aerospace industry is engaged in the research, development, and manufacture of flight vehicles, including unpowered gliders and sailplanes (see gliding), uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAVs), lighter-than-air craft (see balloon; airship), heavier-than-air craft (both fixed-wing and rotary-wing; see airplane; military.

Aerospace Products can be a subset of Defense, when there are defense related, but this segment only include products that are aviation and space related they can be civil, commercial or defense. In addition, there are service providers.
